I don’t really enjoy painting more than one similar mini and rather paint one monster or character and continue on to another one. In RPG encounters you often encounter more than one similar enemy though and I really don’t like playing with unpainted minis. With this in mind I’ve decided to paint up some groups of common humanoid enemies, starting with three ogres.
There are in fact quite a few good ogre minis around, but most of them are single minis and I needed three matching ones. The Ogre Marauders from the very first month of Artisan Guild’s Patreon were a great fit.
Printed large enough the fit the ogres “real life” size of about 3 meters they just fit on 50mm bases and made quite imposing minis.
