Continuing with the egyptian theme I painted this Sandstone Golem for which I used Sokar’s Avatar from Reaper Miniatures. I shamelessly stole this idea from Maledrakh who did something similar back in 2017.
Luckily I was able to get my hands on a metal version of Sokar’s Avatar as I think that this version is out of print since the model was made available in plastic. Was great to work with metal again. Love the durability and crisp detail and somehow the additional weight of the mini fells “right”. 🙂
Fun fact – the terrain elements on the base are prints of 3d scans of real world egyptian artifacts. Scan The World has an extensive collention of these and they are wonderful!
