Not too long ago Thingiverse was a treasure trove for good tabletop 3d models. With MMF pushing hard into that niche and nowadays the go-to site for tabletop models, the number of releases on Thingiverse has notably declided. That does have its advantages though, as it is far easier to follow new releases on Thingiverse now. This lead me to notice the release of this cute litte “Bedsheet” Ghost on Thingiverse.
The hollow model was fantastic for doing something I always wanted – install LED lights on a model. I printed a custom base to hold a battery and a switch and placed a LED inside the model. Now the eyes emit an eerie glow fitting for a ghost.
