Creatures

Creatures are an integral part of any RPG. Wether they lurk in a deep dungeon or a scary forest encountering a fierce creature should always be a memorable experience. I’m trying to engage my players with painted creature minis, whenever possible.

Aberrations

Beings possessing truly alien anatomy, abilities and / or minds.

Beasts

More or less mundane animals with no innate capacity for language or culture.

Celestials

Angels, Archons and other denizens of the upper planes.

Constructs

Beings created from mostly mundane materials or items, which were animated using science and / or magic.

Dragons

Reptile-like creatures, usually winged, with magical or unusual abilities. Generally grow vastly more powerful with age.

Elementals

Beings either completely made up of or infused with elemental matter.

Fey

Usually humanoid shaped, ageless creatures closely tied to nature. Their unique sense of morality often clashes with other beings.

Giants

Generally humanoid shaped beings of greater than usual size.

Humanoids

Humanoid humanoid beings, both civilized and savage, generally with an established language and culture.

Infernals

Demons, Devils and other evil nightmares hailing from the lower planes.

Magical Beasts

Not quite natural beasts, usually with higher intelligence and supernatural abilities.

Monstrous Humanoids

In most aspects similar to humanoids, but with monstrous or animalistic features and more often than not some form of magical ability.

Oozes

Gelatinous creatures that rarely have a fixed shape and are usually mindless.

Plants

Mostly non-ordinary flora, often ambulatory and sometimes carnivorous.

Undead

Once living creatures now animated to a state of undeath, usually through necromancy.
