The four classic D&D golems are flesh, clay, iron and stone. I’ve already painted the latter three and was looking for a flesh golem for some time.
Though there a many good flesh golem minis around, I was looking for a classic “Frankensteins Monster” version of the creature and was not able to find a good version of that. Until I stumbled over the “Castle Ravenloft” board game by Wizards of the Coast from 2010.
The game included a flesh golem and to my utter surprise the sculpt and cast were fantastic, which is quite unusual for a board game. The mini was a bit large for a flesh golem, but I was fine with that.
I managed to track down a cheap version of the game on eBay and while I haven’t played it and most likely never will, it was worth buying it just for the golem.
