I have been playing the CRPG “The Quest” lately and I encountered a lot of “Flying Eyeball” kind of monsters, which you regulartly encountered in old style CRPGs like Might and Magic.
Inspired by these encounters I decided to paint my own Eyewing and went looking for a miniature. The closet one I found was the “Eye of Fear” from Reaper Miniatures. I added a tail and resculpted most of the “body” to get the model I had in mind.
