I was not happy with my blacks, especially when painting surfaces that should represent fabric or smoke. The colors I used often produced a dark black, but left a noticable shine which does not fit to a lot of surfaces.
So I have been experimenting with black tones from different manufacturers lately to find the best combination for dark and matte black.
Along came this Allip from Rocket Pig Games which I printed and painted mainly to test black and grey tones, but also because I really like the model.
